Your treatment begins with a thorough double cleanse, followed by a Hyaluronic Peel to gently prepare and refine the skin before microneedling.

We then customise your treatment using Fusion Professional Meso Cocktails — sterile, professional-use formulations selected specifically for your individual skin concerns. These targeted cocktails are microneedled into the skin, allowing us to work on concerns such as fine lines, loss of firmness, pigmentation, uneven texture, dehydration and overall skin rejuvenation.

Your Recovery

  • Day 1: Redness and sensitivity, similar to mild sunburn. Avoid sun, sweating, swimming, and anything heat-inducing.
  • Day 2–3: Redness begins to subside. Skin may feel dry or tight — your Post Skin Needling Kit will help. Wear SPF every day, without fail.
  • Day 4–5: Continue avoiding heat-inducing activities and keep skin hydrated as it heals.
  • Day 6–7: Skin continues its natural healing process — early improvements in texture and tone begin to appear, becoming more pronounced with each session.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling uses ultra-fine sterile needles to create controlled micro-punctures in the skin. This triggers your body's natural collagen and elastin production, improving texture, tone, and firmness while reducing fine lines, scarring, and pigmentation.

What skin conditions can Microneedling treat?

Beyond anti-ageing, Microneedling can target acne scarring, congestion, skin laxity, stretch marks, post-inflammatory pigmentation, enlarged pores, sun damage, and dehydrated or compromised skin barriers.

Is Microneedling right for me?

It's not recommended for impaired skin barriers (like open wounds) or sensitive/reactive skin not currently on therapist-prescribed products. Some conditions, like cystic acne, may need preparatory work first — we might recommend starting with LED Facial Therapy.

Do you use numbing cream before treatment?

No — Beauty Worx Skin Studio doesn't use numbing cream for Microneedling. It isn't necessary, and can actually create an adverse reaction due to unwanted absorption of chemical residues.
